NG Bailey

NG Bailey is the UK’s largest Mechanical & Electrical Contractor. Founded in 1921, they currently employ over 2000 people and have an annual turnover in excess of half a billion pounds.

We were commissioned to create a suite of documents that introduced their new business strategy ‘For Life in Buildings’ to clients, partners and investors. It was important to provide the setting that led to the development of the new strategy, as well as the benefits that customers could expect from this new approach.

The suite included a central brochure, a financial summary and a sustainability report. In addition to planning, copywriting, design and production, we created an extensive library of new photography. This highlighted a range of key projects completed over the past three years, each one shown as a living building, not an empty shell.

NG Bailey was recently voted the greenest M&E Contractor in the UK, which gave us a chance to demonstrate our environmental printing credentials . Every partner in the process was ISO14001-certified, including the paper mill, the printing press and of course ourselves. All the paper was recycled, all inks vegetable-based, all the electricity was from renewable sources, all of the carbon emissions were offset, most of the cleaning solvents were recycled for further use and 87% of all waste produced was recycled.
