Pure Pie started out selling handmade fare to hungry festivalgoers across the UK. As the company expanded and opened permanent sites in key locations like Paddington Station and Twickenham Stadium, it became apparent that the existing brand simply wasn't memorable enough, and so founder Patrick Robertson came to us on the strength of a recommendation. The first step was to understand the personality of the company and its products, and develop a brand positioning that gave a real sense of who they are. It became apparent that the opportunity existed to create something exciting and distinctive.

We developed the line "making the world a nicer place, one pie at a time" to sum up the company's big idea, along with a set of values that helped to define the way that they worked. Everything that was created subsequently had to fit with this positioning, ensuring a cohesive and clear brand.

The illustrations are bold and fun and the bold identity places the product on a pedestal, underlining their commitment to making the best possible pies. The first outlet to be rebranded was at London Bridge station, where the new branding was responsible for an increase in sales of over £300.00 per day!

Additional outlets have now been redone at Paddington Station and Twickenham Rugby Stadium, as well as some new trailers that reach out to new pie fans throughout the summer festival season.

Promotional materials produced so far include a brochure for prospective landlords and a simple website, both of which benefited from stunning new food photography.
