Plymouth City Centre

Following on from the success of the Drake Circus launch campaign, we then pitched for and won the Christmas TV campaign for Plymouth City Centre.

We decided to create a magical ad that would show off Plymouth's new retail offering convey a sense of transformation.



The advert was directed by acclaimed music video directors Karni & Saul, and produced by leading regional production company Pangaea TV. Animation is mixed with live action to bring Christmas to life in Plymouth.

The creative treatment of the TV ad enabled us to demonstrate a mix of different retailers and weave in a number of different brands without losing the magical feel. We could also show off Drake Circus and some of the independent stores, and place the ad firmly in Plymouth.

The TV campaign was supported by a heavyweight newspaper campaign, and a specific campaign mini-website.
