Insurastore

Insurastore offers contents insurance to customers of self-storage facilities. Many self-storage providers will not accept uninsured goods, and just happen to offer a very profitable sideline in insurance themselves.

We were approached with the idea, and put together a development proposal to build the site and the systems that quote, issue and manage policies automatically.

The branding, the language and the overall site design are all bright and clear. Because all activity is handled via the website, it had to be simple to use and robust. Customers have found the site to be extremely easy to use.

Due to the very specific nature of the requirements, everything had to be built bespoke and tested to within an inch of its life. In order to go live, the site had to be signed off not only by the client, but also the insurance broker, the underwriter (Royal & SunAlliance) and the Financial Standards Authority.

Security is paramount, and so the site is hosted on multiple dedicated secure servers. We also appointed a partner agency to manage search engine optimisation and online PR, responsible for raising the site's profile and delivering targeted site traffic.
