Too much attention is focused on design, and not enough on the words. Not
what you might expect to hear from a design business, but it's true. The art
of good copywriting is much maligned, and we're on a mission to save it.
Great copy provides the catalyst for great design. It expresses powerful ideas clearly and simply, and encourages people to act. It's not about being floral, or flouncy. It's about avoiding tired business-speak, engaging with people and capturing their imagination.
Some words we write ourselves or adapt from a draft you supply to us. Much of it we commission from external copywriters. And we check and double-check everything before anything is published.
Some good advice from copywriter Laurence Bloom: 'Say what there is to be said, clearly and without fuss, and then move on. Any piece needs to be as long as it needs to be. After that it's waffle.'
