Sweet Red packaging
We created a new brand, including name, labels, packaging and a launch campaign in the USA for this new cheese. We used a traditional illustration with a colour treatment to add a look that provides a fresher, more contemporary twist.
Our brief from Somerdale was to promote the origins of the product and the new design does this perfectly. It had to reflect the delicious new cheddar which is produced with milk from grass fed cows, creating a unique sweet flavour. Natural annatto also adds a distinctive red hue to the cheese.
The name ‘Sweet Red Grass Fed’ leaves the consumer in no doubt as to what they are buying.
The product was specifically produced for major US retailer Whole Foods Market. As part of the launch we developed a competition based incentive to encourage sales staff to create more interesting and impactful point of sale displays.
